Latest brewing

So over a year ago I wanted to brew something to have at my son's high school graduation party for the adults. I don't even remember what flavor it was. I was moving the beer from the fermenting carboy in to the laundry sink, and the bottom of the glass carboy blew out. That took the wind out of my sails for quite a while. I think that winter I made wine, but no beer. Early this summer, before we left for a mission trip to Kenya, I brewed a "Dry Irish Stout". It turned out to have an off flavor early on. I attribute that to the sanitizer sitting in the stainless keg too long and leaching out in to the beer. It was okay after we got back. The off flavor had "relaxed" or dissipated. I recently made a batch of beer for a silent auction at work. I offered up 5 gallons, the winner got to pick from at least 12 different ales. The bid went to $126 which was pretty good.
